has a master of science degree in communication sciences and disorders specializing in speech-language pathology, is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), and a life coach. In addition to his credentials above he has pursued additional education in counseling psychology to further develop a whole person approach. As noted in his bio below Braxton has worked with a wide variety of populations and diagnosis with emphasis in severe and multiple disabilities and assistive technology including augmentative and alternative communication. His continued education has drawn him to further focus on cognitive functioning across the life span and it's effects on learning and social interaction. He provides services in English and English based sign language.
Taking it upon himself to develop a wide array of professional work experiences, Braxton has worked across the United States and U.S. Virgin islands. He has acted as an SLP in a wide variety of professional settings including schools, home health, hospitals, nursing facilities, state institutions, and private practice. This has given him exposure to a very diverse population both culturally and in regards to diagnoses.
